Louise Valentine has been practicing the art of painting on silk since 1983.
Her husband, Brian Provencher, aka Shibori Boy, has been a full time partner and collaborator since 1992. They live and work in the town of Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

Their work has been shown in juried art fairs and exhibitions across Canada and the United States. It can also be found in select galleries in both countries.
